Manage holiday home bookings with an availability calendar, booking requests, and simple admin tools—built for WordPress.

== Description ==

Holiday Home Booking helps you manage holiday-let / vacation-rental bookings in WordPress.

This plugin requires the following plugins to be installed and active:
- WooCommerce (payments / checkout)
- Contact Form 7 (optional - required for auto-create pages)

With the required plugins active, Holiday Home Booking provides booking tools and a front-end booking experience that integrates with WooCommerce for taking payments, and uses Contact Form 7 for enquiry form handling.

## Requirements
* WooCommerce (Required Dependency)
* Contact Form 7 (Optional Dependency - Required For Auto Create Pages)

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate WooCommerce (required)
2. Install and activate Contact Form 7 (optional; required for auto-create pages)
3. Upload the holiday-home-booking plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/ (or install via Plugins → Add New).
4. Activate Holiday Home Booking via Plugins.
5. Configure the plugin settings and required pages/forms as instructed in the plugin admin screens.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does this plugin require WooCommerce? =

Yes. WooCommerce is required for the booking/payment flow. Holiday Home Booking will not function correctly without WooCommerce installed and active.

= Does this plugin require Contact Form 7? =

Contact Form 7 is recommended. The plugin checks for Contact Form 7 when auto-creating certain pages (for example, contact/enquiry pages). If Contact Form 7 is not active, those pages will not be auto-created.
However, you can still use other features (such as managing bookings) and you can create the required pages manually.

= What pages does the plugin create automatically? =

When dependencies are available and the plugin’s setup runs, it can auto-create required pages for the booking flow and supporting pages (such as contact pages when Contact Form 7 is active). If you prefer, you can also create pages manually and assign them in the plugin settings.

= I activated the plugin but nothing appears on the front end. What do I do? =

Make sure WooCommerce is installed and active first. Then run the plugin setup (if provided) or create the required pages manually and add the plugin shortcodes to those pages as instructed by the plugin settings/documentation.

= Does the plugin send emails or handle enquiries by itself? =

Enquiries/contact forms are handled via Contact Form 7 when it is installed and active. If you do not use Contact Form 7, you can still create pages manually and use an alternative contact form plugin, but auto-creation of contact pages may not run.

When all dependencies are available, the plugin can handle everything from the booking to the payment side and sending of information of the property booked (i.e access codes).
